Ugandans online joined Uganda Police Force in mourning the death of a police officer who was allegedly killed by an irate mob.
According to the source, the deceased, identified as PC Chemonges Suleiman, was twenty-eight years old and a police officer attached to Bisheshe Police Station in Ibanda District.
Sources revealed that he was tragically murdered by an irate mob while guardian the funeral of Kahangire Lazarus, an inmate who died at Nyambuhikye Government in Ibanda District. Police report indicate that an SMG riffle and sixteen rounds of ammunition were recovered from the scene of crime.
The body of PC Chemonges was transferred to Ruhoko Health Center Morgue pending an autopsy test to ascertain what really transpired. Burial preparations are also underway. Uganda Police Force assured netizens that all suspects who participated in the criminal act will be arrested and brought to book.
