KCCA operatives in the company of the Police in Kampala have arrested a man who was found standing on the grass. A video that is currently making rounds on social media platforms shows the KCCA arresting the suspect who was taken into police custody.
This is happening at the same time when the KCCA operatives have urged Ugandans in Kampala to keep the city clean.
This was after it was reported that anyone who is going to be caught dumping garbage, littering the streets is going to be arrested by Police, taken court where they are going to be charged.
Ugandans who took to their different social media platforms to speak on this have thanked the government under President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for taking this initiative to keep the city clean.
Others have stated that the people in charge of this operation should be watched because some might end up taking advantage of innocent people.
Ssentamu… This is a good thing, but some individuals will now take advantage of it to extort money from innocent people. The police should be very vigilant to ensure that this does not happen.
