Alfred Ndeta, a man from Kakamega who calls himself God, says he needs security and a secretary to help with his responsibilities. In an interview with a digital journalist, he explained that his duties are overwhelming and he needs support, just like the President and county governors who have security teams.
Ndeta, who left school after class four, said watching over the world is a tough job. He claims angels and Jesus provide him with spiritual protection, but he still wants human security and an assistant.
“I don’t have a secretary, a guard, or a helper. I want a secretary to assist with my work. I’d also like security. The President has security and only looks after one country. The governor only manages a county. But I’m responsible for all nations, so where is God’s protection?”
Ndeta insists he’s different from others and shouldn’t be left alone. He’s frustrated and wants the government to explain why they haven’t provided him with support. “Why don’t I have security? This is a huge responsibility. I’m not like other people. Why am I alone? Why can’t you settle me?” he asked angrily.
Ndeta isn’t the first person from Western Kenya to make such bold claims. Recently, a woman from Busia named Judith Nafula said she is Mary, the mother of Jesus. She claims God spoke to her through a lightning-like voice, confirming her divine role.
