A teenage boy is on the run after allegedly stabbing a traditional healer to death in Matugga over a disagreement involving Shs 2,000. The incident took place around 1:20 AM on May 8, 2025, in Kito Cell.
The deceased, 45-year-old Isa Bisobolwa, was a traditional healer. The suspect, 18-year-old Richard Mutyaba, reportedly stabbed Bisobolwa twice in the neck and stomach after a dispute. The two had been staying together and were seen at Mama Naka bar in Matugga the previous evening.
Bisobolwa was taken to Wanda Health Center but was pronounced dead on arrival. Police have registered a murder case, documented the scene, and transported the body to Mulago Mortuary for a postmortem examination. Investigations are ongoing.
